FAQ Q.8 Can I take a break in membership if I am out of town?

	You can, upon prior intimation take a break if the period is more than a month. You will have to return the book/s issued on your name. The period will be considered only from 1st of any month to the last day and so on. The break period will be valid only if it is informed well in advance and will not be considered if informed after the break & if the book issued to the member is in his/her custody.

Q.9 How many books can I change in a month?

	Generally you should return the book within 8 days, but you can extend the period with prior intimation to the library. Late fee will be charged @ Rs.1/- per day if the book is kept beyond 30days. In case of home delivery the books will be changed only once in a week on a predefined day of the week by library (although you can change the book in between the delivery period by personally visiting the Library). Members not opting for home delivery can change the book as and when required by personally visiting the library maximum twice a week.

Q.10 Are there any delivery charges if I wish to get home delivery?

	Members will have to pay additional delivery charges if they wish to get the home delivery of books. The area of delivery is considered as 10 km radius from city centre (i.e. Dwarka Circle).The delivery charges are mentioned in Membership Plan table. The delivery charges will differ than those indicated if the place of delivery is far off. This facility is only within city limits.

Q.11 How are the books changed in case of home delivery?

	The list of books is available on the web site. The member have to select the book from the list and inform the Title or Accession Number and inform us on phone, SMS or email. We will deliver the books as per the delivery schedule once in a week. We suggest to select and inform at least three titles of your choice so as to deliver one which is available.

Q.12 Do I have to return all the books at the same time?

	Depending upon your plan, you can return the books which are read and retain the balance books. Only in such a case while giving a request you should inform accordingly, as the exchange of books will be done only according to the books returned. (E.g. if you have a family plan and at any instance if one book and one magazine are being returned after reading, keeping back one book and one child book, in such case only one new book and one new magazine will be issued.)

Q.13 What do I do if the book I receive is damaged?

	We suggest you to check the book at the time of delivery or while taking it from the library . If you find the book is damaged please inform so to the concerned person.

Q.14 What do I do if the book is either damaged or lost by me?

	You should inform the library in such a case. The member will have to pay for the damages or loss of the book, which will be recovered from the deposit or will be charged separately at the discretion of library.

Q.15 What are the library timings and when is the library closed?

	Library timings are : Sunday to Friday:- 8.30 am to 12.30 pm & 4.30 pm to 8.30 pm. Saturday Holiday. List of holidays will be displayed in the library in January every year.
